So here's the deal, Ive got a 2001.5 B5.5 Passat wagon 5 speed. Its been my trusted daily driver for awhile now. I would trust this car on a trip across country, I drive it close to 400 miles a week for school/work/bullshit. Its a blast to drive and will make an awesome daily, possible v.i.p build, or even a bad ass family hauler. Im selling this car due to some personal issues, or I wouldnt even be considering letting it go.
Heres the run down:
2.8 v6
5 speed manual
exterior 8/10
Interior 8.5/10
Runs great
lowered on spring
HIDS
CURRENT EMISSIONS UNTILL JAN 2014
Clean title in hand
great tires up front, decent out back
AC / HEAT / POWER STEERING
Awesome stereo, bumps hard as fake titty's for stock
Averages about 27.5 mpg's with hard driving
Pretty frickin quick, and handles well for a wagon, Ive kept up with two different e46 m3's on coils on windy back roads.
Breaks traction into 3rd in the rain and through 2nd in the dry lol
Quite on the inside, very smooth riding, comfortable car.
New bosh 02 sensors
fresh oil change as of 3/7/13
New replacement axle on the passenger side
130k on the newer motor, installed by a vw tech.
Cons:
Replacement axle whines when driving, doesn't bother me at all because of how quite the cabin is.
Small dent on drivers rear door, and wrinkled driver fender
Scratches on the hood
Grease stains in the back from lugging around tires
Needs cam cap seals (doesn't affect driveabilty at all, got the car this way)
220k on the chassis
PRICE: $2600, Slightly flexible. My price is more than fair, don't low ball me. Will possibly trade for a s13 or s14 or a cressida, mx73 or mx83, or if the trades highly in my favor. i have a perfect s13 shell I can include if the trade is sweet enough.
So for 2600 dollars your get a car thats, cleaner than your s-chassis, faster than your s-chassis, more functional than your s-chassis more comfortable than your aunts lexus, has 5 doors for the maximum amount of whores, so whats not to like? I have a great car here and it may have its problems, but I think the cons are more than generously reflected in the price. You cant find one for under 5k on craigslist, let alone a manual, so save your shit talking.
