Finally after 2 years, it looks like its time to part with my SR'd 96 240sx. Let me start off by saying this car has had tons of time and money poured into it. The reason I started this car, was to build one of the fastest cars around here.
The car was purchased in april of 02, from a dealership in northern VA. Then drove about 7500 miles before the overhaul.
The 1st thing done was the s13 sr20det, with the basic upgrades. After, the car was drove for about 4500 miles. In this time period the oil was chaged ever 2000 miles and the coolant flushed.
Then I decided to go to the next level.
The objectives of this were for the car to be able to run 30 psi and the ability to run 10s. So then i started the upgrade process, turbo and internals with stand alone fuel.
Finally the car was tuned and put out 315 at 12psi and over 500 at 24psi. Now i believe it can have more power at 30+ psi, but never dyno'd. Anyone will tell you that 350 rwhp is plent for 240sx.
The main reason Im selling it is cause of financial situations. I have more important responsibilities right now that require money. So well Im sad to see it go, but there arent many other choices.
There nothin wrong with the car. Runs,drives, factory equiment are perfect. Its reliabe and safe. Oil was changed ever 2k miles. The only thing is car is still unpainted do to conversion, i can get it painted whatever color you want but that would have to be paided for.
Now ive seen alot of 240sx, with less done go for around 13-16k. Email me and we can talk about it, Or email with any questions, thanks.....
