looking good, but get wider tires and a new exhaust.

i love everything about your car, except the exhaust tips. oh well, you can't have everything. it does look a little plain though, a small lip ('89 stock would be perfect) and side skirts would do wonders.

Your car looks really clean!

Im just curious as to why some people comment on other people's car and tell the owner what they should do to it. The most common ones that I notice are, "you need to drop the front a little", "you should upgrade your wheels", "you should get some sideskirts or a full body kit", and "you should install a (insert cheap performance mod here)"...

Why do people do this? I mean there's no need to point out its flaws or whatever it is because not all cars can be perfect. Well, I'm just wondering. I got nothing against people that do make comments like I mentioned above.

Narc,

I guess people do it cus when you post your car on the 'net, you're basically opening yourself up to be criticized.

I mean why else would you post your pic unless you wanted people to comment on it?

Well thats what I think anyways. I guess its best not to take it as a diss, but as constructive criticism... but then its his car, so he can do what he wants to it, just like I can do whatever I Want to my car.. cus its mine. So fuck what y'all say ;)

As far as the car goes.. I think its coo. Looks clean. If you're happy with it I am happy with it :D

I hate my hatch with spoiler and wiper holes. Luckily I found a nice clean same color hatch with out that nonsense at pick-n-pull. It'll be mine tomorow. hehehe.

Car looks clean though. I like the third brake light.

Hey busteds13 what mall are you at?? cause i'm in STL too, cool car by the way just need new exhaust, and tires and rims. Also the pics were that were taken are very good. Good lookin car.

s13andy: wider tires on a 160hp engine? why bother.... as for the exhaust, well, i like it... it's goin' nowhere.

cdlong: yeah, i had a zenki lip on it before i painted... i just thought it looked bad, all stretched out in the middle. if anything, i'll be getting the pdm racing body kit. nice, clean and simple and it finishes up the front end just right... or i might just leave it stock. you can't argue that the 240sx has some of the best lines on any of more recent sportscars.

stillmatic: werd. it seems every site i post these pics on, someone tells me that "dawg, you ain't ballin less you rollin' 18's on dat bych" or "shit yo, you needz a JIC Magic JDM Muffla on that ryde" or some shit like that. well, 18's aren't really gonna help my 0-60 on my STOCK car, and i don't see why there's so much focus on exhaust... meh. another favorite seems to be telling me to get an s13 or s15 front end conversion. how bout no....

s0ldats: nah, not a photographer... it's just a hobby :) i've got a Contax with a plethora of Nikon and Zeiss lenses, but these were taken with a Sony 4.0 megapixel digital camera. point and shoot, not manual adjust, unfortunately...

itslogics: heh, Crestwood mall. good to see a fellow STL'r around here... recognize that logo on my quarter window? :D

Wow I like the paintjob. You know what would really help accent it though, is if you take your wheels off and go to autozone and buy some wheelwell spray. get it nice and black up in the wheelwell area, make it look a lot cleaner, and plus it would be easier to clean up later.

Beautiful color.. two tone is hot, Hot, HOT!!!11one :bigok:

what suspension upgrades are you on?

small suggestions.. for lip, why not keep the stockness (just sleek sexiness), and get the stock 91-93 air dam? Also, maybe get something to lift the front bumper so it's lined up a little better...

nissantuner22: yeah, i've got the liners in my garage.... i just haven't bothered to put them back in yet. i think it's time.

sykikchimp: eibach sportlines on stock springs, unfortunately :\ i'll be getting my AGX's soon, please don't flame... and the bumper is lined up now, it was held on by zipties in those pics.

aa87: yeah, tint's coming. 20% all around within the next couple weeks.

thanks everybody!

yeah, the sportlines actually came off a parts car i bought. i just swapped the springs and a few other bits and pieces and sold it to some other dude for more than i bought it.... but now i suffer the horrible ride that is aftermarket springs on stock shocks.

Id rock that color. Looks real good. But from the pic it looks like you need to tell your body man to realign the front bumper.

constructive critizism, its how nice cars get to be sweet cars, i agree, flat black rims looks good on silver cars, and sometimes straight up red cars, ur pics are cool but so many are so dark. most 240's i see i think need side skirt no so much a whole body kit, i just ordered side skirts for mine cause i think it looks funny with out them.

Damn that's icy hot stunna son! :mepoke:

Car looks nice. I don't get why you shaved the front sidemarker and not the rear though, it looks off-balance like that. Overall though the car is cool. :)

its probably spray paint...there is no real need to spend that much money to powdercoat the stock wheels, but who knows...

plans.... i dunno. KYB AGX/eibach sportlines, stiffen up the chassis a bit, get a new muffler that doesn't spray the back of my car with carbon and fire, i've got a k26 sitting in my garage, if i save up enough, a KA-T isn't out of the question...

How is the car riding at the moment with the sportlines/stock springs combo?
