S13 redtop for 89 coupe

whatsup guys. ive been looking at s13 redtop sr20det for a 1989 240 coupe and all the motors say they will fill years 90+ i was just wondering if the chassis and engine bay differ between 89 and 90 would it fit in just the same? let me know thanks guyss

it will be fine. I am having a redtop put in my 89 coupe right now. There are few things that need to do, like powersteering, and i belive it might be a new fuel pump, or water pump.

91+ 240sx guage cluster or jdm one, 91+ power steering lines or bend/custom your 89-90 one, and also move your power stering reservior over. change fuel pump to accomodate sr needs.

couse 89 and 90 are single cam and the stock tach isnt compatible.. ...

drdrift-> GET A SR20DET CLIP!! u wont regret it.....swap everything and walla. dont gota go looking for little stuff like PS stuff and a cluster. trust me i went threw it.. it sucked
