I am missing the piece labeled 26038N in the pic below. Local Nissan dealer told me this is discontiuned and cannot be ordered. Anyone got one for sale?

1. Is this part the same on 95-96? I know where a donor car is.

2. If I get an HID kit, will I still need this piece or does it get replaced?

I think I have a spare kouki pigtail connector if you need one PM me. If you do an hid conversion consider doing a full hid retrofit with oem hid projectors bulbs and ballasts instead of a cheap chinese plug and play deal. either way when you do the HIDs you only need to use one pigtail connector to trigger the relay harness (which I sure hope you get)!

Thanks for the reply. How much do you want for the pigtail?

That link didn't have much on the wiring (I'm guessing it's self-explanatory once you actually get into it).

Anyone know if zenkis have the same pigtails?

No they dont. Zenkis use a H4 low/high and 9006 high beam connector. Koukis use H3 bulbs for their highbeams.

I have the same issue. I bought a used euro glass headlight and it's missing the harness for the highbeam.

i grinded the plastic around the bulb to the exact same shape and i didnt have to buy new hid kit. lol works fine haven't had a problem with them neither.

No, Koukis use a 9006 high beam. The harness is different in that kouki low beams will stay on with the high beams. Zenkis use a dual filament h4 bulb in the low beam spot so when you flip the high beam switch it switches over to the other filament on the low beam side when the high comes on. That's another topic though. Yes the wiring with a quality hid relay harness is very self explanatory, and you will want an H1 harness if you have an original kouki, or an h4 harness if you have a zenki/kouki conversion on your zenki. But like I said, if you do go to the relay harness you only need one low beam connector to trigger the actual relay on the new harness.

Whoops. You're right. Iwas still thinking about the euro lights.
