Hey Guys I need a little help and this is for the guys who have done the 180sx type x front ends. My question is who here has done the bumper and did not buy all the brackets and all the other pieces? Im curious on to how it would look and dose it have big gaps? Anybody got pics?

It's not "type x" it's just a kouki front end. "Type x" was a specific model of kouki 180sx and it shared the same front bumper as the regular kouki 180sx's...

What don't you have, or what DO you have? The top support bracket assembly should transfer over from your stock bumper. I'm not sure on the bumper support/foam as I've never screwed around swapping a kouki bumper with mix and match parts personally. I *think* the zenki support/foam might be useable though, probably with some modification. Any info that you need on the swap should be readily available via the search function here or on google.

save your money, buy all the parts, do it right. :mepoke:

seriously, you kids have NO patience anymore...visit nissanparts.cc and order the missing pieces. their prices are INSANELY cheap!

if you have the bumper and bumper extensions, the chuki skeleton will fit just fine (requires a little cutting with an xacto knife, but VERY minor). the fender bits will require zipties

but in all honesty, dont be a cheap ass...do it right!

if youre going kouki... why not go ALL the way.. for that peace of mind...

you can make it work, I currently only have

bumper support
extension bracket
extension
front bumper
lights and etc..

but I would HIGHLY recommend buying all the brackets..

Ok so I have the front bumper and the extensions. Now I have the old chuki bumper with the old brackets and i have the absorber. Ive had this car for about 2 years and I went from chuki to pig and now im back to chuki. Hell i even have the from the pig nose

u can install it without using the foam.

All u NEED is

Oem (from stock bumper) upper mount- may require trimming
Front bumper
Side extensions x2
Side Brackets x2

And that's all. It's oem so it will fit decent with only this.

Extra clips/brackets lights etc will help with overall fitment and appearance. But what I listed is the extreme basics of what u need to run bumper
