My friend gave me a set of q45 brakes but he isn't sure of the year. He said he thinks they're from '92. My brother works as a sales consultant at infiniti and I tried to order a set of pads and rotors and the parts desk needs a vin cause they said 92 is a split year; are all 90-96 q45 brake pads and rotors the same? I've looked all over the calipers and can't find a part number

I ordered my rotors and pads for the 90-96 q45. I never specified a year in that range.
I do recall 92-96 being the years you want.

its only really important if you know if they're q45 or j30. ebcause everyone says they are the same but if you go into a parts store all the part numbers are different between the two.

Cut them in half and count the rings.
