just curious to know. i know alot of poeple dont like crazy body kits, s15 conversion, etc....but what about the difter x or there other cars, i mean they have s15 conversion, metal wings, etc....i mean in not a huge fan of that stuff either but i like there cars. just curious for some imput on what poeple think

lol ya D1 cars in genral are flashy, but part of it is sponsors, that and thier driving ability owns you, so call them rice and they'll own you on the track.

Who said anything abotu not liking big body kits, its not liking ugly body kits, or half of a kit (i.e. front bumper w/ no skirts). Or not liking someone with a huge wing and its a stock bodied car. Or tucked in wheels that are tiny and don't go nicely with the kit. Its a matter of doing it right.

They also have another 2 180sxs' with s13 Silvia conversion. Just wandering why do you even care what other people think about cars that don't even belong to you? To answer your question I like them because those are the first 180sxs’ that I have seen with S15 conversion beside S14s’ anyway they are different.

Kit/Conversion/whatever is done very cleanly. Drivers are more than phenomenal. And the performance of the cars (all)...lets jus say that they do more than back up their flashy exteriors!

nice looking is an opinion. Functional is something that can be proven. I think the Signal cars look really nice.

OMG Drifter-X is my favorite D1 driver!!!!

Remember that time when he won at Bihoku? Oh wait... no that was Hariguchi. Oh... thats right, Drifter-X ran his ass up the wall and totalled that blue Signal 180sx!

But yeah DRIFTER-X!!!!!!!!!! Teh BESTEST!

Hahaha. Komatsu is a crazy good street drifter and way better than i probably will ever be but he certainly isn't D1. Though he would probably own a lot of D1 drivers if they went street drfting with him. So what's better? I dunno.

Also, Komatsu doesn't drive or work for Signal anymore, and hasn't for the last couple of months. Sorry Super Street fans, no more Drifter-X. For those who are confused the drivers of the signal cars at D1GP USA were Bai (Signal driver in Japan too but mostly self sponsored) and Kuroi (Insane yellow Onevia with Works and a 976hp RB26). Both of those guys are nuts street drifters. They run with Tinker and Riverside and both compete is BM Hai, Advan drift meeting events and D1GP. The Signal"Twins" arent run very often outside the US. Their "drivers" always drive their own cars. I dont even think they are considered "Signal Drivers" in Japan. I never see Signal mentioned as a team or club in the bios. Just run the Signal stickers. But Signal is a pretty big a popular shop especially in Osaka so a LOT of cars run Signal stickers, etc...

Anyways, yeah the cars that Signal builds are insane and crazy and look hot (and sometimes perform good too) but so do MOST shop built track/show cars. I mean their reputation is on the line, of course they are gonna build a car that is grood.
