sr20det dosen revlimit just keeps going and wont bounce/ hit revlimiter

so i shipped a sr from tiger jap its a 91-93 redtop sr20det and when drifting or just reving up it doesnt seem to bounce at all just keeps going and going

any ideas why or how to fix this ??

i can rev past 8000 and will not bounce and when drifting just keeps going

i dont want to blow my motor and all i here is bad things about the bee*r rev limiter

anyone know what the problem is or have had this issue ????????????????

ok, what ecu are you running?

if it has been reflashed, contact who ever flashed it and ask them about reflashing it with a lower rev limit

if it has not, buy a new ecu,

or just get a bee-R
they work fine as a rev limiter.

i bought it off a guy on craigslist its a n62 im pretty sure i know it has the 62 on it adn can i reflash it or how do i do that

Get a used PFC. Or sell borrow an ECU you know works and swap it in.

Also what sort of condition is your CAS and ignition system?

Its probably been reflashed with no limiter. So either get a new ecu, get a reflash/new chips with proper rev limiter, or get an aftermarket ignition box that can control rev limits. Also if you get a nicer box you can have a 2 step rev limiter and rev limiter. Your options for boxes are endless. MSD is a common one but there are several others.
