Ok guys.
Who owns a newer Altima, 350z, or Maxima? I'm trying to find out if any of the engine covers will fit in the S14 engine bay.
I'm thinking this might be a good idea for the californians...
If not...
Any expert mold makers got any ideas on how I would mould the top part of my engine bay for a pull-down & stretch type of vacuum mold?

Keeps your car from being impounded. Amazing isn't it?

Actually, I've thought about this. First things first, the SR20DET valve cover is a distinctive red and says "Intercooler Turbo" on it. 240s didn't come with turbos. Cop sees this and red flag raises. Get a blank aluminum valve cover center (or remove it) and sand the cover down to the metal or paint your cover a different color and all of a sudden the cop is much less suspicious. Also, a spare wiring harness over the engine tag will help you so he can't see it without burning his hand on your hot block. A cop's not willing to do that for a ticket.
The first is a no-brainer, the second is a trick I learned from my B16A-swapped EF-driving friend. (Who has since moved on to 240s. He was a damn good FF drifter...)

I just need to cover up my giant conch that got stuck to my exhaust manifold. The things gross!
Seriously though, this should help out the SR crowd as well...

Nope. The bov stays quiet, and the i/c is black...
I got pulled on TINT last time but thats my own damn fault for blacking the windows out.
