Hi all. I'm relatively new to the Z scene but I recently picked up an 88 300zx 2+2 for dirt cheap. The body is rust free. I've been having cooling issues since purchased and been toying with the idea of a 302 sbf swap. So far there's little to no info on this swap being documented (at least none that i can find). Idea is carb'd 302, C4 auto, as little modification as possible and looking as stock as possible. The general (motor/tranny mounts, driveshaft, etc.) is a given. Any info or thoughts on what other areas are gonna need attention? What's the best location for troubleshooting advice? Any others looking into such swap? What is the weight difference in the VG30e and 302? And is the bay in essence a relatively good fit for the sbf?
