This is the thread where I'll be posting pics and details about my 1991 Hicas, ABS, LSD equipped 240 SR20DET Swap. Here's the first batch. I'd like to thanks Johnathan Berlin for kicking ass and taking names. In this batch, you can see my HE's, a little peek at the tension rods, my hot SR and so on. Johnathan will post more pics, he has the one of the clip standing on it's face. :naughtyd:

You guys will have to let us know how it all goes - I've had my "project" for over a year now with no motivation to get my swap done.....instead I've got 3 sets of wheels in my closet :naughty: . assuming its not done....i hope u have a HICAS SR pump..if not be prepared to wait!!
and uh...get a smaller alt. belt. and u gotta take the alt off to get it in teh belt so it will clear the HICAS pump... yea. ifu have ABS...takin the ABS thing off to remove the harness is not fun. happy toolin =)

Johnathan, you gotta see the SR, i took brakekleen and steel wool to the bitch, thing is spotless..well, almost. I tried running the harness..no problems except for the blue ECU connector piece, trying to fish that around that white box behind the firewall is tricky..it's still sitting here. Maybe you have some advice that doesnt include taking off the ABS controller?........

i told you it was going to be a pain in the ass to get the harness back thru the firewall....rig yourself up a coathanger with some elcetrical tape on it and try to push the harness thr the firewall.the electical tape will help you in not scrathing any wires

The wiring is finally ran...WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE ABS CONTROLLER!! Hmm..Apexi AVC-R or GReddy Profec-B...wiring nightmares.

from the looks of it the motor will never start....it will never sit on it mounts properly.....this swap will be a failure of all swap.....

yep everything did go smoothly with the swap...no major problem although i had to maul the upper bracket for the FMIC...i look forward to taking it for a spin once we replace that blown exhaust gasket

The key features of the car are as such..
-A/C=out
-ABS=out
-Soft ride=out
However..
-HICAS=retained
-Heat=retained
-Balls to the wall grip=in spades.
The A/C is so gone, the light doesnt even come on when I push the a/c button. I push the button and the a/c controller is just like :fawk: sucka
