Can anyone give me some advice or something. So I helped my buddy do an engine swap in his 1989 240sx. He bought the 1993 s14 sr20de and did a turbo conversion. The motor pretty much came with a block a head and a tranny. So we took everything off his blown motor and put it on the new one. So we got it in and hooked up we go to start it and it just keeps cranking doesn't start I do some looking and people say timing. so i pull off the valve cover and he put the CAS in wrong. So I line it up like it should but it doesn't line up its like it need to be in between one or the other gears

I wasn't aware it could go in wrong?! :picardfp:
So, have you checked for spark? fuel?

Ya it's getting spark we pulled out the spark plug and put it in the coil and it's good spark. And then pull another spark plug out after cranking it and its wet with fuel

Double check to make sure you didn't put the fuel lines on backwards.

Everytime when you pull the plugs to see if there is fuel clean them up. If you're getting fuel, spark, and air then the timing is off or you're flooding out the spark. Make sure to go over the timing again and check fuel pressure.

you need spark, fuel and compression for it to start and run properly, you said you have spark and fuel so run a compression test and make sure your cylinders arent leaking.
