This particular car was not pushed very hard. The goal was 400 whp.
However in comparison to previous GT2871R Cars that we have done in the past.
Midrange power was quicker to respond and definitely has more power
potential than the 2871.

my horse power goals are not as lofty i have to say, but for the 310 to 330 mark how would this work out do you think? is there a comperable gtx series turbo for the 2860 series?

Just curious what kind of exhaust turbine does this have? Probably same as t25 but I can't pull up the dwg's on the website. I've seen a 2860rs with vband exhaust connections in the past iirc..
Lucky dogs who're building with this turbo! I have the old gt2871r and it's still a spool-beast! Would love to try this

There is a 2863 that might be spooling earlier, but I think the gtx2867 is a great turbo for the sr20, I'll replace my 2876 with a gtx soon.
Great price by the way.

For those power goals you cant go wrong with the original GT2871R .64 AR turbocharger. That is a great turbo for your power goals.

The exhaust housing does use the standard 5 Bolt Outlet for use with SR20det Turbo Elbows.
There are some specific exhaust housings that do offer a different outlet design.
For most that are looking to go with an External Wastegate the common solution is to weld the hole for the actuator rod closed.
