I have an S14 SR20DET powered BMW E30.

I bought it swapped in already.
I don't have much experience driving manual.

The PO had installed an OS Giken clutch. I think it's a twin plate because it's quite noisy with the clutch pressed in.

I am currently struggling with it because of it's very snappy engagement and stiffness.

I stall it very often and I am still trying to get a hold of it in the parking lot.

I hope to reach 300-350 whp but I won't dare to go past that. Track and drift days are to be seen.

Should I swap out the clutch to get the stock one?

Or will I get used to the clutch? I drive in very very heavy traffic. Only on highways would I be spared.

Really confused because it seems like OS Giken is the THING with auto enthusiasts. It would be a shame to get rid of it and then realize I had shot myself in the foot.

Keep it, i have one and been driving aound onit for 3 years. Love it.

If you do swap it out keep it as a secondary for if you ever decide to want more power

Your foot grew accustomed? It's so damn stiff my leg hurts after pushing it a couple of times.

Would I grow some coping muscles in my leg? lol

Its a good work out. Getting a Nismo Slave Cylinder might help though.

in my opinion, i would replace it. especially if you drive thru stop and go traffic a lot. stop and go traffic would also accelerate clutch wear, and OS Giken is not a cheap clutch. i had a 360whp car and had a heavy duty pressure plate and a six puck unsprung ceramic disc from ACT. i daily drove it and drag raced it almost every week end for 2 years. pedal pressure was only a little bit stiffer than stock, but since its ceramic disc, grab was excellent. BTW, the same clutch is still in use, after about 60k miles and about 13 years.

I currently run an OS Giken Super Single in my car and it is also very noisy with clutch pressed in.

It took me a while to get used to it in traffic but I can drive it just fine now. You will get used to it.
