View Full Version : my bent tie rod
i was suprised to find out my tie rod was bent. i thought i just had a bad tie rod end. good thing i bought the ends as well as the rods (i got teins).

the ones in the pics arent the Tein ones are they? and how did you bend them?

Haha. I did that, but the whole damn tie-rod bent. It looked like it was forming the letter P when I took it off.

Are yhr Teins worth the money, or would you have rather lliked to have gone with another brand

yea im confused too, are the ones in the pic that you attatched the stock tie rods or the tein rods?
the pics i posted are the stock ones. i meant to say i installed the teins to replace the stocks. the only difference i have felt so far is that the turning radius is much better. the teins come with a spacer that increases the turning angle.

yeah my whole front suspension is all banged up like that...my tie rods are fine but the swaybar links and balljoints are blown, it needs struts cause theyre blown, bushings everywhere, im getting nasty tire wear and the pounding this does on the car brings the 240 squeek and rattle level to a new high...I get pissed off driving all the time now.....but by many accounts my town has the worst roads in North America

come out to Sudbury...i literally cant imagine them being worse-- you dont avoid potholes driving you choose which one your going to hit
