I have a 91 with a S14 SR the s14 ecu is in the car, but the garage said they "couldnt figure out which wire is the constant power to the ecu so they didnt hook it up, for that reason you have to hit the gas before you try to start the car or else the stock fuel settings flood the engine out. but the afc holds the fuel maps so its ok" thats how he explained it. But its a pain in the @ss and the fuel setting isnt the only thing when the car is idling it idles hhard (SOMETIMES) you can hit the gas alittle and when you let off the car starts to act like its going to stall. The air/fuel ratio is perfect, the afc doesnt read anything bad that i can tell. Im not sure if this is all because of the ecu problem or not. I dont know much about the sr ecu's if anyone could shed some light on this for me......
