i recently bored my s14 sr20 20 over and i currently have 700 mi on it when i hear a slight knock on the top end, so i pulled the valve cover and found that one of my intake cam lobes was running dry so i pulled the oilier tube and found that that one oil was clogged with break in material i cleaned it and re installed and there is still a slight noise. i have changed the oil 3 times since it has been back in the car 1 30mins after start up 2 250mi 3 500 just to flush out any material but there is still some in there so my question is is there any way to modify the oilier tubes to perform better? or is there and type of aftermarket oilier tube that can be purchased that will enhance flow? Ive looked but havent found anything, any info is appreciated! thanks!

I am sorry to bring this up, but what is it that clogged the hole? If there is material floating around in the oil, where did it come from?

It's just breakin material tiny little pices of metal, I had the motor decked, bored, the crank balanced and polished so it's probably from all of that and the new rings being seated.
