Hi, guys. I drive a 96 s14 240sx. I was looking at some subframe collars on ebay for my car and on there it said that they are compatilbe with drift pineapples. I kinda understand what the collars do but i have no clue what the drift pineapples are. Can any one explain what drift pineapples are and where i can get some and how are the compatible with the subframe collars? And if i should get both or one of the other. Any help would be greatful. Thanks

If you want a car that can keep the back end from sliding out when ever you take a turn, dont get em. If you dont want to go crazy from your differentials noise magnification, making the cabin sound like that of a 1984 ford pick up truck then dont get it.

Are you for real? I did not think that they could be the cause of such extreme changes.

The snail is exaggerating a bit... I have KZ spacers and the diff noise is more pronounced, but nowhere near what he is insinuating.

they also do NOT make the ass end slide out on every turn. What they DO, is reduce slop from shitty rubber subframe bushings, and make the rear end of the car more predictable and controlable. They also reduce wheel hop.

I personally do not "drift".

W3RD sykikchimp... they really do tighten the back end up.

it increases the noise a little bit. but if you're going to suspension work to your car, this is expected. it wont be crazy loud, but it'll be noticable. just turn the music up a lil and you should be able to fade it out.

yes, anytime you are gonna do some sort of aftermarket suspesion, especially parts with ball joints and no BUSHINGS, you will hear MORE noise transferred to the cabin..... oem soft bushings eliminate noise and are cheap to manufacture..

the extra noise is worth the performance aspect of subframe spacers
