I have a 91 240sx with the stock dual cam engine. Recently it started cutting out on me. It will be fine for about 20 mins, then all of a sudden it will cut out and sometimes not go over 2500 rpms. When it cuts out, it bucks really hard as if im repeatedly taping the gas pedal. I have read up on this alot and people have said that they changed the power transistor and resistor but what and where are these located? ANY help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Well the power transistor is aka the ignitor. Here is what it looks like:

Should be on the driver's side inner fender next to the ignition coil. If thats the culprit this is how to test it:

Don't know if this is your problem but at least you know what and where it is and how to test it.
Good luck,
Jose
