S13 red top and blacktop

What are the difference between the two.  

Are swaps just as easy if I were to do a s14 or s15 swap into a s13?

redtop = pre 94 s13
blacktop = post 94 s13, s14, s15
easiest IMO would be an s13 swap.  no VTC to deal with.  Simpler electronics or so I hear.
It probably wouldn't matter if you actually get a complete swap though.... harness, ecu, everything.
