4WD cars

I'm looking for a list of 4WD cars made from like 1985 and up. I'm trying to decide what to get for next winter... I'd really like to stay with nissan. Toyota would be my next choice, then suburu... Could anyone help me out? TIA

i dunno, but on thepartstrader.com in the mazda rotary cars for sale section there was an 88 subaru RS 2-door that had a mazda 13bt turbo rotary engine in there. he was selling it reasonably cheap, i think, if im not mistaken...i think it may ahve been under $3000. would indeed be an interesting vehicle to drive, and replacement engines can be had complete for around $1000 if you were to blow the poor little wankel.

or you could get one of those horribly ugly toyota 4WD corolla wagons from the late 80's...

87-89 Mazda 323 GTX......AWD turbo, based on 323 2dr hatchback. kinda rare but cool little hot-hatch!

good luck finding a good 323 GTX....
another cool car is a 91-92 galant VR-4 if you can find a nice one...SCC has a project one going on, they gaine dlike 37hp and 52lb/ft of torque off a downpipe, exhaust, and K&N filtercharger, something like $600 worth of crap. it put down more than the factory rated hp and torque, too, TO THE WHEELS, on a 10 year old car...pretty mean
or you could build one by swapping the eclipse GSX drivetrain onto an old galant, since thats basically all that it is
