So I've done quite a bit of reading. some say best way is to tee it off from the fpr vacuum Line, and some say its bad. Can someone enlighten me on how to install this. Btw its a mechanical boost gauge. Thanks guys

I think your post is stupid considering the subject has been covered a bajillion times.
scenario 1: right now fpr vacuum not t'd. How would you know if you developed a leak at the fpr?
scenario 2: fpr t'd with boost gauge. You know have a monitoring system installed. Not only for boost, it monitors the vacuum and boost to the fpr.

Tap, T or not to T is purely an opinion nothing else, use your big boy or girl decision making skills! It's 2013 wake up!

The short version!;)

It has been covered so many times but none has a definite answer. I have the same problem also, some say T off the FPR and some say to T off the vacumm hose to the wastegate. I would like to know also. And yes i searched all over the forum including nico, 240sxforum, etc. the post starts out good then it is a bullshit people flaming and get side tracked on the subject.

I have mine T'd off the W/G vac hose, from what I have read and been told by the shop that tuned my car, the FPR vac lines should not be T'd for any reason.

This from what I understand is to ensure the FPR gets correct signal to do its job, without having to supply a boost gauge also.

That is what we call false information! You have to be trusted, by the people that you lie to The factory routing has the FPR T'd, sooooo i suggest running a boost gauge to the fuel pressure regulator for all the reason people say don't! That is if there's a leak you'd know it. Otherwise how would you?

BTW the wastegate doesn't need vacuum to work soooo! you probably have you wastegate hooked up wrong also!

My mistake mine is T'd off the BOV :keke:

I was using that quote, of yours to give you an idea, about the information you've been given!

Here's another:
I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused.
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used.
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise.
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this
maze?
