How do you all do? My name is Michael. I am currently replacing a wiring harness to a sr20det swapped s13 coupe. I purchased the upper and lower wiring harnesses from wiringspecialities.com ( S13 SR20DET to S13 240sx Wiring Harness | Wiring Specialties (http://www.wiringspecialties.com/s13srins13241.html) ) My question is that, I need to replace the body side fuse box ( passenger side ) b/c it keeps shorting out fuses. Can i use a usdm oem ka24 fuse box, or do I have to use a sr20 specific fuse box. Thank you, any and all help is appreciated.]

The attached picture shows the shitty old fuse box.

And yes, I am still a novice at tuning. So it may be a noob question

Well, swapping out a fuse box isnt "tuning." It's simply fixing a wiring related issue.

You do not need to use an SR20 specific fuse box. The engine and fuse box harnesses are separate, and since you have a wiring specialties harness all the conversion wiring should already be done which makes it plug and play.

You need to purchase a basic automotive electronics book, a voltmeter, and then spend some serious time figuring out WHY you keep popping fuses. You may have a shorted wire somewhere in there, many of those fuses get their power supply from the same place.
