So my car was running super rich. so I moved he afm cause the previous owner had it ziptied down by the swaybar. I cleaned it with maf cleaner from 5 feet away as to not break the filament. Now my car runs lean on start and the first part of my drives then just goes normal.
When I start it it slowly climbs to 18-high 19's then goes down to 17-18 when start to drive. After about a mile it drops to the 14-15's. then when I park afr's start going back up. fuel mods are walbro 255,nsimo fpr,300zx filter.under load afr's drop like they are supposed to. This is just driving me nuts.

recalibrate your wideband, then try again!

at cruse and idle that is fine. The only time I actually seen you give it any throttle it richend up as it should but it was only a short amount of throttle. Do you have a lean miss or is it disrupting your driving any? Most of the pre tuned ecus I have seen as well as the ecus I tune for people with do exactly this without a narrow band o2 sensor. It can give better economy and it is un needed to run at 14.7 for little to no load until you have a lean miss (other than for emissions reasons). Also if the car does have a working narrowband and I re enable it within the ecu it is easier for it to add fuel to a map demanding less in order to get it right than it is for it to take fuel away from a map asking for too much.

Totally forgot that the head is ported and polished and has it has a 3 angle valve job. Ill recalibrate today and try again.
And yes it is disrupting a lil. when i first start driving its misses and jerks under load but after some driving its fine.

Temp sensor gone wrong maybe ? But it usually goes wrong the other way: when it dies, the ECU works like the car is always cold and richens the mixture.

it also does this but after a couple starts its fine.....i think the maf is on its way out. I tried but I cant embed at work.

That vid tells me you have a vac leak somewhere after the throttle body. If it is idling that high it is getting air from somewhere. When the maf is plugged in it isnt registering much air flow so it leans out even more and barely wants to idle.

Its not my vid but it just might be my problem. it just does the stumbling on start up....the lower the rpms the leaner it is. Thanks 4x4!

dont confuse the situation by posting other peoples vids. My suggestion before watching that was going to be see if the narrow band isnt working and if it will fix the situation.
If yours does not rev like that when unplugged then I doubt it is the problem
