I'm in need of injectors in the 1600cc+ range, and have some thoughts and Q's.

I'm going to be running E85 and go for 500+ whp. And I require that they are easy to tune, getting a good idle and low rpm performance is critical, since this car will be a street car and have to pass inspection/smog tests.

The "old" style Bosch 1680cc injectors have been used a lot, but they aren't that easy to get a good idle/low rpm tune with, according to many people who've used them, on E85.

The 1700cc Bosch NGI-injectors are also quite widely used, at least here in Sweden I've heard of many people, I know a few aswell, and they are according to tuners a lot more easy to tune than the older 1680ccs. But, they have also failed/died for many people, primarily they seem to not like heat at all?

Then there's the seemingly great ID2000s, but they're pretty damn expensive. I'm sure they're great though.
But then there's also these Bosch 2200cc ones, which on a number of sites are said to be ID2000, just stragith from Bosch, is this true? Because they're almost half the price in some cases. But, are they the same injector as the 1700cc ones, only larger? Or are they a different model that are "better" than the 1700ccs?

I have a custom aluminium, PNT-style intake manifold (loooks like this http://i.imgur.com/zGiuH.jpg) and a GReddy fuel rail for top feed injectors, if it makes any difference.
