SOLD>>>>>>>
I have had this 97 for about 4 years now. Some of you may remember it from my built thread, "Freddy the GM powered S14". The car runs great and has been on the road again since the beginning of June. I put the motor and drivetrain in the car originally in 2009. It was all black with chrome VS-KF wheels. After about 6 months of driving the car, I took it back down for paint. Well as things usually go, one thing turned into another and I had done more work to the car than originally planned. The car currently runs great and makes 418 wheel. I have put about 12k miles on the car since the LS1 was put in. That being said, the full drivetrain has 12k miles as well. I have taken the car on the Hot Rod magazine Power Tour last summer. I have also done 5 autocross events and 2 road coarse events this yeas. The road coarse events where part of the Optima Batteries Ultimate Street car invitational. The qualifier event that I was part of has already run on Speed Channel. I was picked as one of the top 50 and also competed in the final this year. I placed in the top half and had a blast competing for the title of the "Ultimate Street Car". Since then the car has recently been shot for Modified Magazine as a feature in an upcoming issue. Also the car will be seen in the upcoming episode of the Ultimate Street Car Invitational. This should air in January. Not to mention, the car was on display at this years SEMA show.
I know your all thinking, why sell this?? Well I own a shop and the time has come to put the money back into the business. I am asking $18k obo for the car as it sits. It does have a clean Illinois title. The car is advertised as a ready to run competition vehicle. I say that because the car does not have heat or a/c. The car also does not have any mufflers of resonators in the exhaust. If you are interested in the car as a street car, PLEASE, take these things into consideration. Also, I am not willing the part the car out at this time. If there is no interest I will have to move in that direction. But for now, please do not ask for parts.
