I saw a Supra put down 716 at the wheels last night

This car was absolutely amazing! He was running a T-72 on a stock motor, stock tranny and put down 716 at the wheels at 29psi. He turned the boost down to a modest 21 psi for the ride and traction was still a major problem. It wouldn't spool til 5000 and then it was rev limit in like .002 seconds, hehe. Even in third it was spinning but the acceleration was unthinkable. I must own one someday.

I got to ride in a S13 180 with a GTR engine once. It was all white & beat up.. It was really fast... :-) .. I doubt he's dynoed it, but the ass-dyno would estimate about 500hp.  Everytime he raced, it would be exactly the same.. The other car would pull about 100ft ahead, and then the turbo would spool in second gear... The other could would just disappear (sp).. Very cool.  :-).

gotta love that 2jz-gte engine, it can handle massive amounts of power from the get go. Gonna purchase the engine and tranny next year and get a shop to do the custom work to drop it in my 240 since i have no time whatsoever.
