Ive been talking to greddy lately and asking about the kit and if they plan to release a carb eo #. They sent me a email today saying that they are trying to get a # and will try their best to release a # asap. For those who wanted to know or those who live in cali like me

Greddy is going to screw everybody (in California) over if they can't get it certified.
They've been working on the kit forever, the kit has been out for months now, and they're still trying to get an executive order number? I'd like to see it go through, but I seriously doubt it will happen.

And what happens to everybody that already bought a kit? Is Greddy going to give them the dumb stickers to put on everything? I don't know, but if they do I'm going to try and get my hands on some. :naughtyd:

by the time they get it legal, we all would be very old...
they have the kit out for awhile now, the main draw is their supposedly 'legal' bolt on kit...

wouldnt it be possible to sue them for false advertisement and sale of illegal smog devices for public road use.

Didn't someone post before and say they already HAD an E.O#?
Was there a miscommunication with GREddy somewhere?

people assumed that it was street legal since it was made by greddy and they have street legal turbo kits

Plenty of companies make kits that don't pass smog, no need to file lawsuits. . .

Hopefully they'll get it cleared, I'd betcha it's just held up in the corporate beaureacracy.

When it's carb/smog-illegal, yes. Check out the picture I attached in my first post, which I stole from some guy selling the kit. You can see what it says about California vehicles right on the box.

Hey sorry about your luck, i feel ya. I'm wondering where exactly did you get pulled over? Was it in San Jose? What did they stop you for? Or at least what they told you when they stopped you

Haha...yeah that's an interesting sticker. Makes it seem that the kit is not for Cali peeps at all. I'm just worried about getting pulled over like the other people and/or failing smog. I hope Greddy get's this taken care of since they spent hella time on this kit already...
