Hi guys!
First off I'm admitting to being a newbie on the forum about this topic!
I have a JDM 180sx with a SR20DET blacktop in it! (wil put up a pic)
I live in Curacao (next to Aruba), this is one of the main problems that i have cause importing a bought product is difficult!

So I really want to upgrade my Brake sytem on my car..
My question is which is the best way to do this??
By upgrading i mean...changing my 4 lug into a 5 lug so i can put better rims, a better brake caliper (skyline or z32) AND SO ON.

What would i have to buy so i can order all of the parts 2nd hand or even new, so when i go and take everything of i can put it back without any problems or for example that I am missing a part!

Here are some pics of the car when i got it.

And i DONT have pics right now...but i do have this previeuw video of the CAR....
FS Graphix - HD Portfolio Film (Featuring Ray's Nissan 180sx) on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/48845444)

Any advice is appreciated, thanks for reading all of the text.
And i Hope that i can get sufficient information about this topic Thanks in advance

You also have the option of running 300zx brakes while remaining 4-lug, you just need to get the z rotors redrilled to the 4x114.3 bolt pattern by a machine shop.

Well he said he wanted 5 lug so he can get a better rim. You don't have as many options with 4 lug.

you could get the wilwood brake setup, if im not mistaken you can get the rotors with both 5 and 4 lug patterns(on same rotor) or you could just switch the center hats(2pc rotor), so if you convert to 5 lug you wont need new brakes, and you could have breat brakes while 4 lug as well.........

Q45 brakes are another option, cheaper than z32 and work just as well

They don't "work just as well" but they are definitely a step up from the S13 stock brakes. Z32's are better but a bit of an overkill on a near stock KA street S13.

However, if you really need stopping power, go ahead and go straight to Z32. The aftermarket pad selection is much better than the Q45 offers.

And you you could stay 4 lug while having Q45/Z32/Skyline brakes, you would just have to redrill OR buy from a place like 88Rotors (hopefully they ship to Curacao).

I'm definetly gonna take a look at the brake swap, if i would do the swap i would do rear and front ofcourse , as i can see i underestimated how much time this will take to replace it. And if i miss a certain part i'll definitely be in a shithole.

I do think that we have a couple of z32's in the junkyard on the island so i'll take a look and see what i can get.
Thanks for the advice ;)
