So I was sliding in the mountains and when i came to a stop i heard a faint screeching/whining sound. It only occurs when the clutch is engaged (pedal is not pushed in) and when i push the clutch in the sound goes away. No problems with shifting at all clutch pedal feel has not changed. this is on my 92 hatch with a twin cam ka24de. 120k miles original engine and clutch components asides from a new clutch master and slave cylinder, agency power ss clutch line. So from what I understand and searching it's either my throwout or pilot bearing? Can I drive with it like that or will it damage my tranny?
