I recently fixed a long-standing wastegate issue with my GT2871R. The HKS actuator was letting the flap open no matter the signal from the vacuum line. I got a Forged actuator and I couldn't be happier. So I just went from 12psi to 19psi and have fallen in love with my motor all over again. One problem I'm getting occasional miss-fires under full-throttle only after hitting boost, usually if I start the pull at a low rpm.
I've got a JWT ECU so she runs a bit rich, AFC neo is in the works. I've got a stone stock ignition system heat range 7 NGKs and all the NGKs are probably 10k miles old. My question is this: Do I need an ignition amplifier at that boost range or should a new set of plugs fix the problem? Could how rich the JWT let's it run have something to do with it?
