blown to bits...

had a blowout late sat night going about 50 MPH, then had to drive nearly a mile to get to a safe place to pull over. Put spare tire on, and it fails! so i ended up having to be towed home. Had to buy 2 new rears, because no one in the area had SO3's in the right size... Im glad im not hurt or anything, but my pockets are.

man, that's nuts... it looks like it just delaminated.. How old are the tires? they may be covered under warranty with that kind of damage.. A puncture is one thing, but that thing blew like it was faulty.

in the first pic, there is a hole in the sidewall of the tire, so i guess something poked into it when i was driving, otherwise, im clueless as to why it went out like that. tires have about 7k miles on them, and i never drifted in them or anything like that....
