I have a s14 and recently bought some corbeau fx1 wides for it. I tried making them fit with custom brackets but they jus sat way to high. I was wondering if anyone knew of a seat that would fit better? I am 6'2 275lbs. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Cut the cat hump out and re make your brackets lower. Thats about all you can do.

Well thank you for the advice... But the seats still do not fit on the passenger side thats the side I did first and the seat just doesnt sit low enough. The cat hump is the place on the driver side correct?

a local kid used aluminum brackets...i believe it would be extruded aluminum pieces that are lined with holes....he bolted that through his floor and his seat to that..it doesnt allow for movement BUT DAMN IS IT LOW.

i really liked it so im probably going that same route as my seat height is not friendly to putting on helmets

If your brackets are custom then we need pics to give you any advice. I can tell you that with the bolt-in brackets that are available you would have to run without sliders to get the head clearence that you need.

lol well I got discouraged and just sold the seats bc they simply didnt fit I would have had to cut the door panels and quarter plastic to get the to fit... the brackets are gone i threw them away I am now just looking for a seat/rail set up that bolts in and fits. One that might accommodate my big ass or maybe its not in the cards and I need a diet lol...

you need BRIDE low max or Nagisa rails. see if it fits your seat.
