Hello.I am an American seeking a living/work opportunity from july until spring of the following year. does anyone have any advice to offer when it comes to living expenses, work, etc when it comes to New Zealand. It would be greatly appreciated,

Whats up Hun,
I'm in the same boat. Are you on a work/holiday visa? Theirs some really good facebook page called Australian Backpackers work and travel page...They usually post jobs on their page.

As for living expenses...All the big cities could be expensive depending on what part of town you decide to live. I've lived in Sydney and it was quite expensive. Food, rent. ect... The good thing is that Australians wages are pretty decent I believe most jobs start at around 15-17AUD....
