so to start, I did search for a couple hours and still don't think I got my answer. Also I'm very sorry if this is a noob question, but I got to get this answered ASAP.

I bought a 89 coupe shell and installed a 97 ka that was ready to drop in a s13. It ran perfect till one day I deleted my ac system completely. As for the two hoses that attached to the heat core thing I just plugged them together. After I did this, three days later i blew the head gasket out of no where. Wanted to know if that's the reason why?

Now my other question what do I do with those to hoses. I'm asking because I just got pick up another s14 ka and I'm deleting all my emission stuff and egr system. Finally it be nice if any of you have like a diagram of all the lines of the intake manifold or a picture of how deleted everything on yours.

Also if I could just delete that whole pipe and just weld it shut would that be fine?

Ps: I followed the write up on this on nico.com but I'm still lost a bit

The only vac line you need goes from IM to FPR, I believe. Cap everything else.

Remove:
EGR, EGR pipes. Use block off plate and large plug. Do some google searching about the part #, you can get it from Nissan.
AIV, AIV pipes. You need the same size plug as for the EGR pipe.
Butterfly valves (if applicable, they shouldn't be on the S14 engine). Plug holes on IM. And remove plate with hardlines behind head.
Carbon canister, remove lines up untill the hardline by the firewall. Leave this line OPEN, unless you want to die. Okay, you won't die, but your gas tank will.

There's probably more, but I don't remember.

As for the two hoses, I don't see why you couldn't loop them if they were in a loop before. Blowing the HG could have been any number of things. Did you have timing right? Did you overheat? Did you properly bleed the KA? Were you beating on it? Did you install an electric turbosupercharger? Is the engine old? Etc.
