need help with SR swap in MD

As the subject says, I just need a hand with an SR swap in Maryland. I'll pay for beer, pizza, whatever. I have most of the tools, I'll rent a hoist if needed. Just bring some 1/2" drive sockets and a breaker bar. I'll be recieving my clip on the 25th. Its a redtop going into an s13 fastback. The only thing is the presence of HICAS. Also would like to install a clutch, flywheel, shifter and coilovers. I also have a room full of parts, but I can do those if you dont want to stick around for the fire-up. I'd prefer someone with some SR swap expierence, i'll pay if you really really really want some money..you poor s13 owners :whip: Haha. I have a garage we can do this in. Post here if you're interested, the more hands the better. Thanks a lot.

hehehe...man if u got hicas like i do..i hope u get a hicas equipted motor....cuz if u dont..you'll be waitin a good while to find one (im talkin about the PS pump)
oh... be prepared to take off your ABS thing(gold thing on the left) u gotta take that off to remove the harness. and the alternator u gotta take off to get past the HICAS pump and into the belt loop...yea voice of expereince...so be prepared. oh and if its commin from HT check all the coil packs and ignitor chip so u can get them replaced just incase they are bad. yea once again...voice of experience

hey buddy go figure im about 30 minutes away i hagerstown and my mom works in fredrick but i dont have much experience but my 13 year old brother does. he completely rebuilt my ka with rods pistons and shit. turboed it, changed clutch, flywheel, TO bearing, bumpers, exhaust, suspension. only help he got was a little from my uncle for the TO bearing and some of the bolts, punny little shit. hes like jesse from fast and the furious dude, but hey sr20 and HICAS is completely different. good luck

how many miles on yer KA and whats the compression?

I'll help ya out (and get a buddy of mine to help) if i can get your engine for cheap (given its in good condition). Not much experience with srs (well none actually) but i know my way around cars. Tools i can offer: air compressor, welder (will weld shut, but it won't look to pretty), chopsaw.

Give us a call if you have any questions reguarding your SR swap. We help alot of local people out with there swaps and end up finishing alot of them also. We have extensive experience w/ SR motors and other 240SX swaps. Good luck...

I have a HICAS PS pump as well. My clip was HICAS and my car wasn't. Just traded with my engine supplier! I'll sell you mine if you need it. $100+shipping I guess. Make an offer.

I can drive up to help, I have friends in Hagerstown, MD and Martinsburg, WV.. its pretty close. One of my friends has the swap in Martinsburg. I can't help much on the wiring without the diagrams, but I've taken apart my suspension 1000 times and I could bring spring compressors and some other shit. I've done clutch and flywheel before too... I dunno if you are interested or what, just send me an email [email protected] with when you wanna do the swap.
