View Full Version : G35c rims on a S14...any pics?

I'm debating on whether I should sell my K1's and get some 18" G35c rims. The only reason why I'm thinking about this, is because I can get these rims CHEAP (under $300 with no tires included). Does anyone have a clue on what size these rims are (width and offset)? I also wanted to know if anyone had a picture of these rims on a S14.
BTW...the G35c rims I'm talking about are these....

While these are the K1's that I have...

Any opinions, suggestions or help is welcome.

even though i am a fan of deep dish on s13's and s14's, the G35 rims are hot!! I would love to see them on a S14, go for it, it should look dope.

17 x 7.....I might sell them :-/
As for the G35c rims...they are pretty light compared to S14 SE wheels.
I want those R34 copy rims...but its out of my budget.

Are the G wheels stolen?

Are the G wheels stolen?
:hahano:
nah the rims are not stolen...they are just used rims from owners who get a scuff or scratch on them and decide to get a brand new set.
edit: It appears I will have a problem, if I do get these rims.......TIRES. The ideal size (imo) would be 215/40/18, but it appears that this size is not easy to find nor allows much of a selection. :-/ BTW....the size of the tires on the G35c is 225/45/18 (front) and 245/45/18 (rear). If anyone has any other sizes I should consider...let me know. Oh...one more thing...I'm also considering 225/40/18.

You can make anything fit on that rim.. within reason, so don't worry about tire size. The only thing you need to consider is how much more 18" tires cost than 17" ones.

i was going to pick up a pair for $200/rim
you can get anything cheap if you know where to look.
The G35 rims are 18x8, i forget the offset.

Hrmm I was considering them but 18X8 is too weak for me hehe. Perfectly fine for most tho, I bet they'd look sweet too, go for it!

are they much heavier than the Koseis? Weight is a pretty big factor personally, but the G wheels look very nice. Post pics when done.
Grant had 350Z Wheels on his car which are pretty simular. I dont have a pic but they looked like ass. Looked very cartoonish on the s14. Id imagine these would look the same.

i like it, when youre talking about $300 w/ no tires is that for all 4? if so hook it up!
i think you need to swap the g35 brembos, too :D

yeah true the 300 bucks seems like a good deal...go to an infinit dealer or try their website or something to find out the specs....DO IT!

I believe the 350Z rims look odd on grant's car because of the tires. The stock tires on the 350Z/G35c are HUGE for the S14. I think I'm going to buy these....and just save up for tires. Unless I have any luck selling these rims.....
does anyone want some K1's? :p
edit: found out that the fronts might be 18 x 7...do you think I will have any rubbing issues?

I agree. Anything larger than 17's make an S14 look like a caricature. I think 16's with a nice sidewall are the sexiest.

I kinda agree....but....R34 GTR wheels (18s I believe) look pretty badass on a S14...

Yah for the inifiti rims...go with 225/40 18s...thats perfect and wont affect your speedometer much.

Why would you have rubbing issues? I may run 18X8.5s up front. 18's don't look too big at all on our cars, they look perfect. MMM, NISMO LM-GT4's, biatch! And I swear every time a picture of that car is posted someone asks who makes the hood.

Phatty200 made the hood himself, iirc.

but....R34 GTR wheels (18s I believe) look pretty badass on a S14...
That's because the rest of the car is hooked up as well. On a stock S14 it looks like utter crap IMO. Definitely needs some sort of body kit and lowered suspension to look right.
Phatty made the aero bonnet (;)) himself.

These G35 wheels remind me a lot of the R34 GTR wheels.

That I don't know about...and now I'm concerned about that. I'm also wondering if they will clear coilovers. I might look at them and test fit them if I'm lucky.

My car will have the stock (yes I know) JDM aero setup (minus the lip and wing :-/) and my car is already lowered. :wiggle:
Phatty's car is the hotness...and I believe he had some R33s painted black (or gunmetal)...either way that was hot too. :)
These G35 wheels remind me a lot of the R34 GTR wheels.
I was thinking the same thing too. If these rims (G35c) were gunmetal....I wouldn't be making this thread. :p

what kind of kit does phatty200 have on his s14?
vertex front and sides (rears dont fit because of the euro license plate and fog lights).
