Hey y'all.
I have a 1981 Datsun 280ZX that I've been working on and I got bored and bought a 6AL.
A buddy of mine has a 78 280Z that runs perfect without the tach hooked up.
(Not sure if that's the problem)
But let me explain
1. Wired up 6AL as it said to in diagram (simplicity)
2. Tried cranking with whatever fuel was in the cylinders and it would fire over for about a second then die. (we're assuming the car is a little more advanced and actually uses the tach to know when to fire fuel into the car
3. Don't feel like spending a little extra cash on another MSD part because well I'm broke as fuck
4. Has anyone done this before?
