Try it out and see what happens. Make a How-To on it once you get it all figured out.

Ask Broadfield.

I thinks hes stated many times that he doesn't work with "old technology", I mean he does even provide a wire harness with custom jobs
he does to be plug-and-play because its not that easy. I'm not doubting his skills I just don't think he might have more insight.

Yeah, I don't mess with any of the OEM stuff. I also get the impression that people think I work on 240's all of the time. I have only worked on two 240's ever... and one of those is mine. I merely fabricate the interior pieces etc, then send those pieces to the customer for them to install into their cars. So I never touch or see the vehicle. Half of my customers that I do custom work for don't even live in the United States.

As for the plug and play harness, that's not really possible since the customer needs to run all of the sensor harnesses for their gauges anyway. So the only part that could be plug and play would be the turn signals, power and ground... which would be kind of pointless. Now if I had the car in my possession, then sure I could do whatever anyone wants. But then if I'm doing the wiring on the car personally, then a plug and play harness wouldn't make much sense for the customer.

I don't think he wanted someone to do it. He just wanted to know if it was possible and how to do it. So i figured, why not ask Broadfield(since you are an expert with electronics).

Well that's what I'm saying, I don't know how to do it until "I" do it.
