View Full Version : weir noises now car wont start at all :s

i was driving my car as usual and i decided to park well big mistake ... when i tried to crank my car again it didnt to anything at all i removed the key and the brake and the battery light where on with the key out i was like wtf.. anyways we decided to push it so we could start it in 2nd gear and it did star but only for a few minutes untill it stalled so we tried pushing it again and nothing but a weird noise in a relay down by my feet ... what could this be ? faulty sparkplugs ? fautly wiring? i have no idea i really need your help guys please im desperate!!

Maybe your alternator took a dump.

Alternator problem, the car must of been running off the battery before you stopped the engine
Remove the alternator and have it tested, replace it
And charge the battery on 2 amps for 24hr.

but what about the relays clicking? what is all that about? is it normal when the alternator stops working?

Yup. Clciking and buzzing are normal in this case.

one day my car didn't start and i thought it was my starter, i went to tested and my starter was ok and problem was the clutch ASCD CUT RELAY, thought it may help

the thing is that it did crank but only heard the relays clicking really loud while cranking it .. the only thing i can think of is the alternator (which im taking off tomorrow to have it checked ) and the ignitior chip thats it ...i hope it is the alternator :s

so i was about to take out the alternator and i found this plug disconnected can this be the problem? where does this plug go?

i think that plug goes to your oil pressure sending unit. is there a clip under that cover?

so does it have something to do with the probem im having? and the plug looks exactly like the photo (the one on the right)

Not likely man it only causes the oil light to come on, dont think it affects the ECU.
you can rehook it up, the sending unit is next to the OIL filter

ok so i tested my alternator and it failed i ordered a ka alternator and switch the pulleys and it works perfectly now thank you very much guys i really appreciate it
