First post and also new to 240sx so thanks for viewing and hopefully someone can direct me in the right direction. I have a 93 vert with a seized up engine. I procured an engine off of a '95 ( s14 ). I just want this thing running good and in stock condition ( planning on making it my daily driver, 120 miles a day ). Here's my question to the experienced ones out there, do I swap all the externals from my old engine ( has the SCV ) to the '95, or do I keep the '95 as is and just switch all the ecu components? From some of my reading I'm finding out that the 95's cam profile is different than the 93 therefore that's why the Factory eliminated the SCV. I have both engines mounted on engine stands so access to the components are great ( also begs the question, how the F do you access these things while in the car? Lol ).

I was also thinking of just bolting on the entire '93 intake assembly on the '95 engine and just capping off the vacuum line to the SCV actuator. This I guess simplifies the entire installation. Again, I'm not after any extra horsepower gains, I am more concerned with just keeping everything as stock as possible.

I have some time to kill before installing the engine back in the car since I'm waiting for all the coolant hoses that I ordered from the dealership.

Keep the SCV if you want more low end torque. There's nothing to gain from removing them. Otherwise install the 95 engine as is.

Thanks Frank, what about the difference in the cam? Or will it even be noticeable? Again, as I've posted the question, I just want the best set up as as keeping it stock and while I have all kinds if access to all the components. Best case scenario would have been an identical year engine but unfortunately none materialized.

It's pretty much negligable. If I remember correctly, people prefer the S13 cam setup to the S14 cam setups, but for you it's probably not worth swapping them. I wouldn't swap the SCV either. Technically both engines are stock setups, so I'd do whatever's necessary to get the S14 engine running.
