These are from GTP

I know they are cheap, and I know they won't fit perfect, and I know you get what you pay for.......

Despite all that, has anyone seen these in person or have them on their car? I want side skirts but no way do I want to pay hundreds of dollars for OEM zenki sides or Gracer.

How do you know they fit like crap? Why wouldn't you be able to make them fit? I know the "those knock-off are shit", and "only poseurs buy those" comments are really in style right now, but do you actually have any experience with them?

Not all of us can afford Yashio Factory/Nismo/Gracer aero components. An alternative like these would be nice.

Cuz if you actually do a search...alot of guys have made the mistake of buying them. Yes I know guys here are starting to act like asses but some stuff in here are getting old. If guys would actually take 10mins out of their time to search and see what other guys have posted about their experience with IMPORT FAN or any other US Kits...youd know wussup.

Heres the damn breakdown...Importfan is hit or miss. SOMETIMES you get lucky and get a skirt or bumper that actually fit or somewhat fit. I know my bumper was ass. R33 bumper for Kouki. I know guys who bought S15 fenders....ASS *did not line up for shiet* Skirts....thing was 3/4 the length of how long it was supposed to be.

Word of advice...Save yourself the money and headache...get a real kit. In the long run itll cost you just as much if not more to make a knock off fit.

You could always go down there and test fit them. If they're not to your liking, you don't have to purchase 'em.

i got some, but they've been sitting in my closet for a while. i matched them up to my car when i first got them and they fit pretty nice. but i dont think that really counts untill its painted and installed. just my $0.02

i have seen alot of cars with kits that fit like crap. my friends work at a few different body shops and when i see them install these knock off kits they are almost like they are for a different car. it takes alot more work and therefor, more money to install (body work) and paint. might aswell save up for the realy shizzz.

***no i have never had any expierence with this kit, but they are all the same. knock off kits are check cuz the molds were cheap to make...meaning more flaws.

Well a few people say they are fine. Thats just not good enough. I would rather not take my chances.
Thanks for all the replys.

Renova? I did a google search and came up with skin cream. Do you have a link or anything? Why do you say anyone should buy from this "renova" ?

In general, think of it this way:

If you buy a knockoff part, yeah, you'll spend less money on the initial cost; but then you're going to have to spend extra money in making it fit properly.

If you buy a genuine part, yeah, you'll spend more money on the initial cost; but then you won't have to spend extra money in making it fit properly.

In the end, you'll probably spend more on a knockoff then what you would have been comfortable with initially. If the price is really that much of a concern, try to find someone selling the real parts used.

if you CALL THEM ask if they have been test fitted.. if not then do not buy them.. if yes buy them.. They now test fit almost everything before they sell it.. Click on most of the pics to see more info and you see that they have many test fit pics on all the new products.. most people can dog.. yet know very little..

GTP is almost a whole different company.. i took part (when i worked with Midnight Motorsports) in some people being fired.. Things are different there now and better..

nismo style kits are just puke to me now... they are soo plain. I dont think there ever was a real nismo kit for the s13, probably some US bodykit company making he s14 kit fit s13?...

umm looking at the nismo s14, id perfer the OG veilside kit instead (remeber back in 98 that was the chit!). haha

I LIKE plain. Thats why the zenki S14 is my favorite 240! I like simple and clean.

What I am going for with my car is a little bit of flow to the lines. I have this ridiculous roadkill scraping Gracer front lip and nothing else. I want a clean and simple line for the side of the car to match the plain but aggressive front lip. Exoctic/flashy/crazy stuff gets old. It goes in and out of fashion. Who still thinks a Vector is a hot car? The Countach? Hahah...those cars look like Transformers.
