Hey guys i just wanted some advice because when i try to start my car and turn the key its wont even try to start. At first i thought it could be the spark plugs because the previous owner had many of them throughout the car but i don't think that can be it. Another idea i had was that it could maybe be the starter. So anyways, at first i tried to turn it on and it would be weak, but it still turned on. The second time it took a few try and i poped the clutch a few times and it worked the third it would not turn on completely i had to push start it and that did the trick(just to start it but it didnt start up again after i turned it off). So right now i haven't driven it i just wanted to know what you guys thought about it.Aany ideas? (still has stock ka24 twim cam with about 230,000 miles)

I got a new reman starter and i sometimes have the same issue, sometimes when turnning key to start ill click but starter wont turn, sometimes it does it can be strong or weak.
when it clicks but wont turn(starter) ill rapidly turn the key to start till i hear the starter turn then ill turn the key again to start the car. I think its just the relay going out/bad car does have 200k miles so lol i have plenty of spares just to lazy to swap it right now.

Sounds like a bad connection on the battery or just the battery going bad already

^ This. Check your battery. If that checks out...move on to the starter. Start with the easiest first.

So i replaced the starter today and it still didn't even click.. -_- so i checked the relays and they were good too. So then i checked the clutch itself and there was a switch down there it ended up being that the original owners had replaced the clutch with a kit so they did something and i switched it and also notice that the rubber piece that makes contact with the clutch fell off so after i placed it back on it worked. I spent like $100 on a new starter i didn't even need. lol but its okay now. But thanks for the help.
