Ka24de kinda weird probelms.

Ok so i bought a cold air intake filter and maf adapter and put it on and reset my ecu, and drove the car around.. tried getting on it and it bogs right at or above 4k. I put my stock air box back on and reset the ecu again and its back to running fine. My other issue is whenever i first start the car 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear are all sluggish and the car starts to buck around. If i get on the pedal i can force it to stop but idk what the problem would be. I'm stumped.. any suggestions?

yeah i took the cone and adapter back off and reset the ecu again and it runs fine. it almost seems like the maf cant read the higher air flow but my friend has almost the same setup just with a different maf adapter. im gonna replace the fuel filter and regulator and check the pressure next week for shits and giggles.
