so i finally got the motor running, and drivable but it seems as though when i let off the clutch pedal completly it feels like the clutch is still engaged...(i would describe the feeling as if someone who had never driven a manual car and keeps theyre foot on the clutch relaeasing very slowly) i had installed a SPEC clutch, resurfaced flywheel and replaced the slave cylinder. not really sure where to go from here....any input would be very useful!

have you tried adjusting the rod on the pedal? where does your pedal start to engage as you lift off?

You mean to say it feels like the clutch is still disengaged. have you broken in the clutch yet? you cant beat on it right out the box.

Spec Clutches Suck balls as well so it wouldnt surprise me if that was you issue

i had adjusted the pedal turnbuckle counter clockwise out, and do i have to drop the whole tranny to solve my problem?

Check the clutch fork, take the dust boot out, move the fork and see if the carrier moves in there. If it doesnt move, then you got the wrong TOB and its preloading the clutch.

I picked up a spec 2+ for my rb and it's been strong for the past two years. Only thing with my transmission, when it's cold and I start it and let the clutch out my idle drops low but will climb back up. That's from thick fluid though cause it only does it cold.
