Well guys, i got this maf a while ago and for the life of me i cant remember if it was an n62 or n60 and there is absolutley zero identification numbers or marks on it for me to tell the difference. It has no labels, no part numbers. Both MAFs are physically identical.

Does anyone know how to tell which is which when it comes to unidentified z32 mafs?

ive searched and searched and all i find is people talking about the hp rate difference but thats it.

Thanks so much. I am sure this info will help others in the future as well

There is a thread on nistunes forum. Maybe I can't remember.

well ive googled different variants as such:

how to identify n60 and n62 mafs
identifying n60 and n62 mafs
how to tell if maf is n60 or n62
n60 vs n62 maf
ect.

all come up with limited results that only talk about the horsepower limitations of each..
i did however read that the n60 maf was a 4 wire maf and the n62 was a two wire maf..
if thats true then that would be a good way to tell based on the sensors hotwires. But i cannot confirm this therefore i cant say for sure which maf mine is.

Nistune Forums • View topic - Pics - How to spot a Z32 AFM copy (http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1431)

This shows close ups of both Z32 real and fake MAF's. Since the pictures are close up shots, it could help you with the identification even though your question isn't real vs fake.
