never heard of SRR, maybe i have, but probably forgot...

You would think Sabelt would be the holy grail since many professional racers use those. Not JDM tight I guess.

I use a Simpson 3" harness with sub belt. Takata and ANY jdm harness brand is a COMPLETE rip off IMO. The new Simpson platinum shit is NICE.

I think Takata is choice because they manufacture lots, if not, all Japanese OEM seatbelts... Can't go wrong with a harness made by a company that stocks for OEM cars... Much like Brembo are for brakes.
Being that it's green, I wouldn't mind, I'd rather not have my head on a platter.
And everyone, make sure to get a bar/cage. If you're driving with no top like me, it's only common sense you get one BEFORE you put the harness in (unlike idiots I've seen on Super Street that have the *JDM* Takata harness and no overhead protection in their S2000 and MR2).

Crow Racing harnesses are good stuff. Very comfy and not expensive like a Takata.

yeah, i'd have to say simpson as well. Why? cause high quality USDM stuff are much cheaper in price than high quality JDM stuff but not necessarily cheaper in quality. The phrase you get what you paid for doesn't really apply when you have to account for markups, shipping, tax, exchange rate, bleh bleh bleh. Better support, people who works for the manufacturers who speak english. I had a stupid question, and their customer service was awesome. All the real american racers use it. And we're not taking about APC here, simpson has a really good rep with everyone.
I'll prob pick up a simpson 5 point around the same time i get a seat. been looking into it for a while now.
plus i think it'd look ghetto cool to have a simpsons harness on a bride bucket :)

Takaka harness's do the same thing, they are just blingy-er (if thats a word :)) ive got two simpson harnesses, paid $25 for one (it was new even), and the other i paid $50 for used. they retail at $125-150, if you look around, you'll find some cheap deals. especially in NAZKAR cuntry. if you look, some of the JDM bling mobiles use simpson harnesses. so you can still rock USDM and be cool if you really want that... ;)
