Adams Motorsports Park Drift Night (RIVERSIDE)

Anybody going to go this Thursday? I think it's 5 buck to get in and watch, something like 30 bucks to get your car on the track, 15 bucks to watch and ride-along all night (bring a helmet). If you guys can't make it out this week it'd be cool to get a bunch of Zilvia guys together on October 25th for their Halloween Drift night. I am working on getting together a big ass event at this place for next year, so the more Zilvians the better!

Tell them enough of the Thursday nights, change it to Saturdays or add more Saturday drift days.

Next Thursday (10/25):
•$5 to get in , $3 if you're in "costume" before 7PM
•$20 a session ( I think a session is about an hour, maybe a little more)
If you buy two sessions, you get the 3rd half off.
• Sexiest costume, scariest costume, most creative costume prizes if you're into that...or bring your lady if she is.
• Always a lot of 240's and Z's.
• Good chance for Zilvia guys in the IE, OC to meet up.

Hope to see some of you there. And by the way, anyone going to Formula D this weekend? Im going to be there it'd be cool to meet some Zilvia members.

Let me know, I just started cracking into my car and would love to meet some people who have "been there, done that". :rawk:

Adams sucks ass now , they don't have a driver cap so you only get a few runs , and it seems like it a place to drink/smoke weed .

from what ive seen on thursday theres a line so you only get a few runs in but practice days by the end of the night which is normally first friday of every month i was just doing circles around the track non stop

Maybe so for the drivers giving ride alongs & the ones going tandem. The last time I drove there I did one hour & got 6 runs in. Before that time I got a whopping 5. Timed sessions aren't good IMO when there's no driver cap, people joining mid session, 1 guy to sweep rocks on the course & rebuild the tire barrier.

1) they should really stop the timer for the "hour" when they gotta stop to sweep up rocks. 2) don't let people join mid session. Just have them wait until the next set. 3) and do more events on Saturdays or even Sundays, way more people show up. People got work and school and shit. 4) let everyone get close to equal amount of runs. I get it, give the sponsored car a couple more runs to get the crowd wet, but a car shouldn't have 3 runs before someone gets to go once. And yes more info on practice days please.

Damn, hate everywhere! I don't know, the last few times I've been there on Thursdays EVERYONE who brought a car got a shit-ton of runs... Maybe things have changed since the last time you went? I was just trying to get some people on Zilvia together so a local group of guys could put a face to a name, ya see? If anyone wants to check it out on a Thursday night let me know, and Tuesdays are grip nights for those interested in that...

sincerely that's why i don't go anymore you have to be IN the group of "adams buddies" to get track time & runs whenever you feel like... ...stop that timer + stop letting ppl in current sessions

These practice days you speak of, when are they & how is it? A lot of drivers?

I can't say the exact dates but if you add them on Facebook they'll invite you to the events. It's from 6-10pm and every hour is split down the middle for Time Attack/Drift. I seriously got a lot of runs in within the first 2 hours cause nobody shows up early. First session I got around 10-13 laps in. Usually it's 15 drifters and like 25 Time Attack cars.

Their expansion to Irwindale was a disaster as well. Everything that happens at Adams happened there as well, two runs for around a hundred was just robbery.

I went a lot the last two summers... got a ton of runs always, and especially if you show up for the first session- usually everyone lags.

you can also get twice the runs if you are willing to take ride-a-longs, as they have a separate line for r-a-l.

there are however, nights that they promote for the spectators which get really crowded. the best nights for seat time are the days nothing is goin on.

Yes cholos (gang members).. the last time i was there these guys where walking around looking sketchy and trying to pick a fight. Seen them later on in the night as i was leaving i seen them trying to jump some dude that was in his car trying to leave.
