Ok so i recently was driving my car to work and at high boost / rpms my car started to sputter n what not and almost felt like my wastgate and turbo was fluttering. My boost gage stayed consistent tho. So the next day I pulled my plugs and plug #1 looked fouled out and the rest looked ok and i did a compression test while I was in there and that looked good I had ngk IFR5E plugs in it and my buddy recommended that I put a #7 or #8 plug in there considering I'm running 20lbs of boost. Ok so I put BXR7EIX plugs into it and it seemed like it struggle Jus a slight bit on cold start but nothing really out of the ordinary. And I ran it down the road and it ran great, I felt like it was a whole new animal. The second day I was drivin to work and i hit 3 rd gear and did a full pull turbo spooled up to about 14lbs then it cut out for a split second then went into super mode and pulled really hard for the rest of the spool. I would say it cut out around 3500 to 4 rpm. Ok so I checked the gap they are at .029- .030. So Idk why its cutting out. And it runs awsome after it does haha breaking loose and what not. I also need to mention that last year my I drove my car threw a bad rain storm and my filter got a little wet and threw a code and wouldn't run past 3500 rpms. I pulled my ignitor chip out and cleaned that and the maf and then it ran fine after that. Maybe acted up a little bit sence then. But the reason I brought that up is cause when I was driving it cut out the same way and threw a code then it drove like shit and wouldn't go past 3500 rpms. ( me drivin down the high way at 35mph with cations on) so should I replace my ignitor chip? MAF? Wrong spark plugs? Wrong Gap? I heard that Sr don't like iradium plugs buy I've been running them for 6 years now and haven't had anything like this happen before. Any ideas will be appreciated. Oh and my car is running kinda rich also my friends always bitch bout how my car smells haha but like I said this problem just started.

Hey man, type with paragraphs. It makes it so much easier to read when its not one big glob of randomness.
S15's don't have ignitor chips and your two incidents sound unrelated. Can you post a bit more specific post to your problem? Does it still bog at 3,500 right now?
Future reference, use copper spark plugs instead of Iridiums. Same part number, with out the IX at the end of it.

Sorry I'm in my phone don't mean to glob. And yea like I said when I start a low pull in. Like 3rd or 4 th it cuts out for literally a split second at around 4000 and like 13 -15 lbs of boost. Then after that split second its pulls harder then ever before at 20 pounds no cut out ever when I shift up it jus keeps eatin in rocket mode.
So you say copper plugs. What gap?
Today I pulled plug one and it looked like it had oil on it but like I said good compression. So I pulled my intercooler piping off and noticed a lil pool of oil in the core. Maybe my turbo seal is bad Shootin oil into my intake and foulin out plug one? All the other plugs look great and the pistons look clean as far as shining light down the spark plug hole. But number one is juicy on top of the piston and plug. No I dont have a oil catch or wideband ...YET! I kinda think my coil pack is bad. Idk that's as far as I got today. Oh and to add my car runs fine regular drivin, no misfire other wise until I really lay into it.

Awesome! That helps quiet a bit more. I'm assuming some things are checked first. Wiring isn't rubbed through anywhere (Maybe underneath the driver fender), all vacuum lines are connected (IC piping clamps tight as well), and all bolts are tight (including grounds)?
20 lbs is alot, I hope you are not on a stock ECU with minimal upgrades.
Oil on one plug most likely came from the valve cover gasket instead of from inside the combustion chamber. You said you definitely had blow-by recently so I wouldn't be too concerned with moisture on one piston just yet. Coil packs on S15's rarely go out, but if you are suspicious, consult the FSM on how to properly diagnose them. (Something like Pins 1 and 2 must have 20 ohms of resistance or close to that nature)
From what I'm reading and giving the benefit of being knowledgeable mechanically, I think your problem is one of 4 things. 1) You have a batch of bad gas 2) MAF is giving out 3) Vacuum leak 4) Fuel pump is on its way out.

what are you using as far as boost control goes?

No built motor... I work at wiseco ;) and I can't say its the gasket cause there isn't oil on the porcelain part just on the actual tip and like 4 threads in. In other words my coil pack don't have oil on it. It had a slight light brown residue on it and it smelled like gas tho. Only #1 too. And I already tested the fuel pump that's good. And as far as vaccum... Maybe but I figures I would have a weird idle n such. And like I said this motor build has been running like a champ for 6 years now and it didn't do the cut out rocket ship effect until I put these new plugs in. But yes I'm goin to test the coil pack tomorrow my local buddy has a spare one I can use
Im running a hks evs controller
